The Orb

A mysterious orb that sucks the life from whoever it encounters has been let loose upon the city of San Diego! It is up to Agent Browning to capture and return it before

it can do any more damage. But can Agent Browning really be trusted...

This Short Film won „Best Drama“ und „Best Editing“ at the Campus Movie Fest in San Diego and  the

„Golden Tripod for Best Special Effects 2009“ at the Western Regional Grand Finale in San Francisco.

A friend of mine and I created the visual effects using Adobes AfterEffects. 

Life's Short

Life’s Short deals with the fast pace of life and shows a strong visual language.

The film is shot in analogue 16 mm film. It was a tremendous experience filming with analogue film. Every Shot has to be planned ahead and be perfect at the first try, otherwise the costs for film and development will explode.

It was also part of my studies at San Diego State University.
